The Mission of the Saint Patrick Faith Formation Department is to form intentional disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ while encouraging, accompanying, and equipping parents to fulfill their role as the primary teachers of the Faith to their children.
Towards this end we offer the following Faith Formation programs:
- Grade Level/Systematic Formation
This is the first and primary pillar of Catechesis. Whether just starting to learn about the faith as a Kindergartner or continuing to discover the faith in ongoing formation classes, our Systematic Catechesis offers Catholic religion classes for every grade level from Kinder through High School. These classes help fill the gap in Catholic Religious Education encountered by families whose children attend public, charter, or private, non-Catholic schools.
- Sacramental Formation
The “second pillar” of Catechesis , Sacramental Catechesis, builds on the foundation of our Systematic Catechesis and specifically assists our students preparing to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, Confirmation, and in special circumstances, Baptism.
All Sacramental Programs (Baptism, Reconciliation/Eucharist and Confirmation) require at least TWO (2) consecutive years of classes as required by the USCCB and the Archdiocese of Miami.
