NEWS

The children had a great time sharing “Daddy and Me” day with the dads. Thanks for coming and spending the time with your child in their classroom. It means so much to your child to have you stay to play with them and meet their friends.

The children had a wonderful time at the St. Jude Trike-a-thon and learned about trike safety. Thank you to those of you who have already donated. Unfortunately, we are missing more than half of the required $5.00 each child was supposed to bring to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. If you have not paid the minimum $5.00 please do so as soon as possible.

We were very disappointed that the Sock Hop had to be canceled due to lack of support. If you had already bought tickets, you may donate the funds to the preschool or you may ask for a refund. The Parent Association is having its monthly meeting on Friday, March 6th in Barry Hall at 8:30am. We will be discussing fundraising ideas and Art night. Please come and help us come up with ways to support the preschool.

Please join us on Saturday, March 14th for the St. Patrick Picnic! The school, preschool and church communities are coming together for a picnic on the soccer field to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Bring your picnic basket or buy something from the food trucks and stay for a great day of fun and community! Please join us for the family Mass at 5pm.

Our annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on Tuesday, March 17th at 9:30 am in front of the preschool. Please have all the children in their classroom by 9:00 am so we can begin promptly. The children do not have to come in uniform that day, but are expected to wear a lot of green! You are welcome to come and watch.

Easter Parties are scheduled for Wednesday, April 8th. We are looking for a family to host your class party at their home. The party is outside and we are looking for a fenced in yard (no access to pools). The class will meet at the house at 9:30 a.m. we will have an Easter Egg Hunt. Baskets will be given out to all the children. The egg hunt will be followed by games, party food and play time. Children will be dismissed from the party at noon. An adult has to be with the children at the party. There will be a signup sheet in the classroom for party needs. Everyone will be asked to bring something to the party. Please let your teacher know if you are willing to host the party at your home.
